Before you scroll back through older posts, no there was no Scrivener, Round One…or at least not one that I blogged about. I did Tweet a sad little woe-is-me when my first project for the second Twintype Book (yes, there will be more than one and yes, we’re already working on it) was mysteriously erased after I’d manually imported all my details from A Novel Idea…luckily I wasn’t TOO far along.
I was enamored enough with the organizational aspect (I loooooove organizational tools!) to give it another try…just learn from my mistakes and save your projects to Dropbox to be on the safe side!
For those who haven’t tried it, Scrivener is software intended to help writers organize their projects with all kinds of nifty tools. It’s quite reasonably priced at $40, and offers a 30-day trial, which is a super-bonus.
Anyone else out there using Scrivener (including R.S.A. Garcia)? Love/hate it/not your style for writing? Or do you have another method of keeping all your ideas and research straight? Let me know in the comments!
